Our permanent exhibition celebrates Glasgow’s most famous architect and explores his life and work. The centre, designed by Gareth Hoskins Architects, includes a timeline wall, architectural models as well as pieces of original Mackintosh furniture - a must see for visitors to Glasgow and Mackintosh enthusiasts. From here climb the Mackintosh Tower and see panoramic views of the city. more

The latest biennial review of Scottish architecture presents recent Scottish projects alongside European examples from Norway, the region of Vorarlberg in Austria and the region of Graubunden in Switzerland. Placing the buildings of Scotland within an international context and exploring issues such as the culture of place, regional identity and globalisation, the exhibition asks the buildings to tell their stories.
